Showing new messages at the account level
hello, so probably dumb question here but since I have entirely too many email addresses I like to keep the accounts minimized in outlook...
Only problem I have with this is if the account itself is minimized you need to expand that account to see the inbox where it will show me if I have any unread emails is there a way to make it so the account itself shows you if you have any unread emails? This would allow me to keep everything minimized so on the left of outlook I would see only a list of accounts I have, for instance I would see email@email.com, followed by email2@email.com etc etc Then if one of the accounts would either highlight itself or show me a (2) after its name I would know to click on that account so I could then expand it and see the inbox, outbox etc. It is just annoying having to expand each account to check for activity... or having to keep them all expanded which also is annoying since I have entirely too many accounts. Thanks for your help |

You could start Outlook with Outlook Today and add the folders you wish to check to the start screen. http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlook-today/
