![]() I set up a new (imap) email account from GoDaddy on Outlook 2010. The setup and account testing were completed successfully. However, I can send out email but do not see incoming email. I hear the audible alert for incoming email but the pop-up notification on lower right corner and the actual email are not displayed. I do receive incoming email on my smart phone and on GoDaddy workspace web mail but not in Outlook on my PC. Have consulted with tech support from GoDaddy and Microsoft yet no solution has been provided. I tried changing ports and enabling SSL with no luck. I disabled anti-virus and firewall software and still not fixed. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have a Windows 7 Professional 64bit machine. |

Problem solved. I changed the new GoDaddy email account setup in Outlook 2010 from imap to POP3. Changed the incoming port to 110 and outgoing port to 80. Now I receive and see incoming emails. Amazing that both GoDaddy and Microsoft tech support could not provide the solution, in fact, when I suggested this fix, they discarded the solution as that was not the cause of the problem.
