Windows 7 64bit outlook wont start from inbox

outlook wont start from inbox

windows 7 and outlook 2007. since a pc crash outlook wont start from the inbox but always from the personal folder and i cannot keep ther preveiw pane at the bottom.

tried searching the internet but no solution for my problem.
any suggestions
