Default Sending e-mail with delay

After clicking the SEND button,
I'd like to delay the e-mail for a given period of time, say 1 minute, before the e-mail is actually sent.

Could it be done (perhaps via macros)? And can this feature be applied to all outgoing e-mails, and not just to an instance?
