How to show "Names" only of people I'm allowed to "Send As"
Hi,
I need to frequently send between two email addresses, my main one and an alternate mailbox that I have permission to, so essentially I need to "Send As" another user often. My issue is, when I click the "From" field in Outlook 2007, I see a TON of names: http://imgur.com/35b1w2h I only want to see my "normal" email address, and the other one that I have permission to "send as" as. Is there a way for me to configure this window so that I ONLY see names that I have permission to Send As, when it first comes up? All these other names that are popping up in my screenshot that I've whited out, I do not have permission to send as any of them... If I attempt to send as them, I get a message in my inbox shortly afterwards, saying: "You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so." An Alternate solution would be if someone knew how to create a custom button on the Message tab/toolbar, that would populate the From field with "myalternateemail@company.com" when clicked. I only use one other email address, other than my "main" one, so populating the From field with only one address that stays constant is fine. I'm on Windows 7, using 32-bit Outlook 2007 |
