Good Morning, have tried other sources but have not got complete answers will try again

1. how can I limit the right extremity of text in e-mail so that no line goes beyond that point same for left indent

2. if the ruler is to be used, there are various indent terms left right hanging please briefly describe each type and shape

3. can a rectangular shape also be used around the text so that all typing takes place in it

4. if I want to use the ruler to say draw a vertical line at 6 inches there is a dotted line for the time that I press the cursor, when not the line goes away

5. if I arrange a system by using paragraph dropdown arrow etc. , I can provide the different requirements say left indent right indent ---etc. but when I say ok and try to use it, the line just keeps going and does not stop at 6 the same for any future e-mails
