Outlook 2016 incomplete sync with iphone6
New to the forums and hoping someone can help...I've called Apple and they directed me to call MS. I did online chat and calls with MS and they said they wanted more $$ to help me.
I have new laptop, Win10 and Office 2016. I used to have Win7 and Office07 and all of this worked just fine. I can now sync my calendar and contacts from new Outlook16 with icloud just fine. I can sync my contacts from Outlook16 to my iPhone just fine. However, my calendar won't sync properly to iPhone as it used to.
I can create a new event on my outlook calendar. IF I make it an "all day" event, then it will come thru and sync with my iPhone. If I make an event from 9am-11am for example, it will not sync. Obviously, most events on a calendar for work are not all day events, so this is an issue.
I have had Office 16 for 2 weeks and have not had any calendar updates to my phone. My phone is my lifeline for work and it's been a long 2 weeks.
Anyone have any ideas? I've looked at settings, rebooted, logged out, etc. I'm willing to try anything, but I don't understand why there is this issue after years of working just fine. Frustrating...
