Default Dist List Display in ol2003

I am running ol2003 on several WinXP machines. Within Contacts, things are set to save contacts as Last, First. When building a Dist List, selectable contacts are displayed as First Last. How do I get ol to display contacts as Last, First in dist lists?

A workaround is to leave the name fields blank and enter Last, First ... into the File As field. Selectable contacts in a dist list are then displayed as Last, First. But that can be awkward when you need name specifics for some other reason.

Any suggestions?
