Default How to permanently delete emails out of trash

How is it, that when I delete certain emails out of the Deleted Items in Outlook 2013, they are still showing.
When I delete them, they are gone. Clicking on the Inbox then back to the Deleted Items, the emails I deleted are still there. Is there a way I can overcome this?
Also, I might ask when I type a particular name in the Deleted Items, they do not all show up in one single list but are interrupted by other names. How do I overcome this?
