Default Outlook 2010 not maintaining view preferences

Overnight, my computer restarted itself after applying Windows updates. This morning when starting Outlook, all of my view preferences seem to be wiped out. I went through and re-set all of my preferences but if I exit Outlook and re-open, the preferences are all gone again.

Also, the Outlook Today settings do not save even when staying in Outlook. By this I mean...
- Outlook Today has the default view
- I go into "Customize Outlook Today...", change the style to "Summer" and click "Save Changes"
- Outlook takes me back to the Outlook Today screen and everything is updated correctly.
- I click on "Inbox" to view e-mail
- When I go back to the Outlook Today screen, it is back to the default view.

Any thoughts? Could this be related to the updates downloaded by Microsoft overnight?
