Default Suddenly Unable to Receive Emails

Hi,

I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows 10. I configured Outlook to receive emails from my gmail account roughly 1.5 years ago. Yesterday morning everything was working fine and then I suddenly started getting the following error message when trying to send/receive emails:

Task 'emailname - Receiving' reported error (0x800408FC): The server name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.'

I am online and able to retrieve my emails if I log on to my account on gmail.com.

I went to the email account settings, checked the server name, port, SSL (although I had not made changes) and everything is correct. When I ran the test in the email account set up everything worked correctly. I am able to send emails from outlook but not able to receive emails.

Any thoughts what might be going on?

Thank you,
~k
