Hi
I am new to forums like this and hope I am doing this right?

I have recently installed MS office 2007 after an XP reload and had used office outlook 2003 backup to preserve email contacts etc from 2 user accounts to an external hard drive while this happened.

Even though I had chosen not to replicate the 2 XP user accounts I foolishly thought it would just be a matter of importing these files to the new programme but seem to have Outlook in triplicate now! All the data (emails contacts even calendar events) came across but I now have 3 reminders to back up Business Contact Manager all with the same date! Now when opening Outlook the message keeps coming up that "BCM for Outlook could not connect to shared Database and do you want to work offline". This is probably because I don't have anything in BCM as I have been trying to sort this situation for a while.

Writing this I come across as a right idiot but although self taught can follow instruction quite well. My plan was to give up and just uninstall but how do I stop the same thing happening again?

Emails etc are fine

Please can anyone help?

P.S Windows search protocol host is also having a meltdown many times a day and no matter how many times I hit "Debug" or "Send report" it keeps coming up
