Default Outlook 2010 folder list annoying

Wanted to try and use outlook 2010 for email, calendar, et. Was using winLive MAil.

But the lack of control over the folder list is really turning me off.
Should I just give up or do I actually have control over the folders?
as in remove the ones I do not want
Thanks

Which folders are you having problems with? What sort of control do you want, apart from deleting unused folders? "lack of control over the folder list" doesn't really cover it.
