I'm trying to send an e-mail to addresses from Hotmail and Windowslive but I got response as below.
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: xxx@hotmail.com host mx4.hotmail.com [xx.xx.xx.xxx] SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<xxx@xxx.com> SIZE=3967: 550 SC-001 (COL004-MC5F9) Unfortunately, messages from xx.xx.xxx.x weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. How can I overcome this issue, please? |

Your email server IP was blocked by Hotmail, usually because of unsolicited emails, but many blocks were poor judgement. You can forward the error message to your admin, then he can contact hotmail to have your email server unblocked. I did it once and Hotmail unblocked our server IP within 24 hours.

Dear Matrix,
I'd already forwarded the error message to the admin and he told me he contacted Hotmail, however he also told me that it may take some time around 2 weeks. I'm trying figure out another option during this 2 weeks period to send e-mail to hotmail and windowslive accounts. Could you offer any solutions? |

Hotmail was the fastest ISP to fix such problems.
The easiest solution would be using an alternate email address. If you want to keep your original email address as the sender, you can add your email address to your gmail account. Gmail allows you to send from any email address as long as you can verify your ownership. |
