Outgoing mail too large to process.
I sent a file with a 2.3 mb attachment and it is stuck in transmission. I tried working off line and deleting the file, but it won't go away. I tried to open the file and delete the attachment, but I get a message that I can't delete because Outlook has already started to transmit the file. Any words of wisdom will be appreciated.

I tried all the above. Search yielded "nothing found" and off line and delete the file doesn't work either. I guess I'm just going to have to uninstall and upgrade to a newer Office.

I would caution that this approach may not clear the problem. You could try creating a new mail profile, which would be equally effective as 'upgrading' and should establish whether that would clear the problem. It all depends where it is stuck.
If you open the e-mail account via its web access, rather than Outlook, can you clear it from there? I am not convinced that the Outlook versions after 2010 are an 'upgrade' (though for most people the 32 bit version of Office 2010 is the version to use). I have seen nothing yet that would convince me to swap Office 2010 for a lter version.
