Default Outlook 2013 Mail Filter Question

Hi,

Thank you in advance for your help.

I wanted to know if there is a way we can move emails that are From, To, CC, BCC to a specific folder? For example, if I send or receive emails from ___@abccompany.com I want it to move to the folder called ABCComany in Outlook 2013.
I have attached a screen shot of the options available from the mail filters and when I try to Google it it doesn't provide enough assistance.

I know its simple Thunderbird was easy, Outlook needs a little help

Hi Jazz,

Obviously you know how to reach the rules screen. I would recommend using "with specific words in the sender's address" for this specific job.

After you've made that selection don't forget to click the underlined text at the bottom of the screen to select which specific words you would like the rule to look out for, and which folder you would like it to go to. In the case of your example, the specific word to look out for would be abccompany.com and the folder would be ABCCompany. The folder would obviously have to be created prior to the rule's creation.

Default Thank you

Mr. High Fly Tech Guy,

So is there an option that caters to To:, From:, BCC: and CC? So that any communication with a domain would move to a folder?

Thanks!

Hi Jazz,

Yes, there are rules to cater to almost every situation. I would advise just having a play around, creating some rules of your own to become familiar with the process.

Glad to have helped.
