Show attachments as text in body of email??
Hi everyone,
I have sent out a mass email to old contacts and there are a number of the emails addresses which are no longer valid. The emails bounce back with an attachment, and I have to open each attachment to see which address is no longer valid. What can I do to have the attachment automatically show up in the body of the email when it comes in? I am trying to export the emails and then have all the 'bad' emails in an excel file. Hope that is clear and thanks in advance! /M |

There is no simple way to do this. You could use a rule with a macro script to process the returned messages, save the attachments to a temporary file, then read the file to extract the e-mail address to Excel, but in order to suggest a method to achieve that I would need to know the name of the attachment and the content of it.
