Outlook will not connect from one specific network
I am running Win 7 64-Bit with Office 2010 64-Bit on my laptop. Outlook connects fine to our Exchange server for every network I connect to except for one, and I am completely stuck on how to troubleshoot this problem.
The network is in an apartment that my company rents for workers traveling to this area. The entire network consists of the employees laptop (mine in this case), an Epson wireless printer, and the wireless modem. All employees that have used this apartment have complained of the same issue, so I know it is the network. I have verified that there is nothing else connected to the network by logging into the wireless modem and checking DHCP leases, and connected devices. I have also tried disconnecting the printer, and switching to a hardwired connection to rule out wireless interference. I can login to the web page of the Exchange server from the apartment, I can also surf the internet with no problems. I tried to run a WireShark trace, but could not find the public IP Address anywhere in the trace, except for when using the web page. I am hoping that someone can point me in a direction of finding logs, or something that will tell me what is going on. Thanks in advance, Ron |
