Opening Email causes "Outlook Not Responding"
I am experiencing a bizarre problem!
I am using Outlook 2010 Pro on a Windows 7 Pro machine. For several years, I have been receiving a particular daily email message without any problems. A couple days, it started causing a problem. After opening the email, it causes Outlook to go into a "Not Responding" mode and I have to close Outlook to continue with other tasks. I have successfully opened other emails in the Inbox and Deleted Items. It appears as if it is the only email message that causes the problem. I went to backed-up messages which previously opened without error. Now I can't even open those without the same error occurring. I also used a different computer to open the email message and it also caused the "Not Responding" error. I have repaired Outlook 2010 and the .pst file. Please give me some guidance. Thank you very much! |

I reinstalled, reconfigured, repaired, safe mode for Outlook, but nothing fixed my problem. Yesterday, when trying to open Outlook, a pop-up said that it had a problem opening in safe mode and needed to reconfigure.
Afterward my problem was fixed! No more "Not Responding" encountered. CASE CLOSED. |
