Problems after deleting Old Acct & creating New Acct
I was having issues with my Outlook, and after talking to my internet host, they said it was not them, my Outlook was corrupt. So I tried to delete out my old account and create a new one..
I exported (.pst) all my info (email addresses, calendar appt. etc.) to a backup file on my personal cloud device. When I tried to delete the old account it would not let me unless I did a save or backup.. Thinking it would be a file I just would not use, I followed instructions to save it. I then created a new account and imported my info into it.. And it looked ok. But.. I noted the old account they made me save is permanently stuck in my outlook with the label I had made for it "SavedInfoB4Delete" it's worthless in my Outlook, but I see no way to delete it. Then although my outlook works when I am at home, linked to my cloud device, I found when I take it to work it does not work because it can't find the info.. Seems rather then importing the data into my Outlook, it is using the cloud file as if that is permanently where it is now storing my info.. If I am not connected to my cloud, my outlook can't access the data and outlook can't work.. So how can I clean up this big mess.? |
