When using "Save and Send" from Excel 2010, the email opens with no ribbons and seems to hang.
Office 2010 32bit on Windows 7 x64
When the user uses "Save and Send" and then "Send as Attachment", the outlook email does open, but it doesn't load any ribbons, and the email itself hangs. I didn't see anything specific in the logs. There is one plugin (for our DMS) that is used across the firm that I am going to try to disable in outlook (waiting for access). Otherwise, its a pretty standard setup. Any thoughts? |

Is Outlook already running when the process is run? The link between Office programs and Outlook seems rather fragile and this sort of problem frequently occurs where the calling program opens Outlook to create the message. You can sometimes fix it by repairing office, but I would always ensure Outlook is running before trying such a process.
