Multiple copies in sent items folder (IMAP)

I am running outlook 2013, Windows 7 64bit.

I have multiple IMAP email accounts (all gmail) and when I sent an email, Outlook saves two copies in the sent items folder (Gmail).
I have checked the "do not save copies of sent items" in each of the Account settings.
In OPTIONS / MAIL I have also unchecked the "Save copies in the sent items folder".
My antivirus is AVG 2015, and it is set to NOT scan outgoing mail.

I am also using Outlook 2007 on another PC and I have no such problems. Is there anyone experiencing the same problems with Outlook 2013?
