Default Outlook Auto Archive Problem

Hello,

I work on a corporate system that auto archives Outlook emails after 1 month. I have no control over it - it just does it.

Once an email is archived I can see the email in my Inbox; however, the icon changes (as shown in the attached jpg) and I can no longer view the email in Autopreview - I have to double click to open it.

If I copy and paste the email to a seperate Outlook folder on my C drive which (in theory) can't be seen by the system, the email remains in this 'archived' state.

My question is - is there a way to copy these archived emails away from the corporate system and bring them out of their archived state so I can keep my own copy?

Many thanks.

Best regards,

B!
