Shortcut reply to mail brings up run command
Hello everybody,
I just registered because I hope someone can help me find a solution for the shortcut conflict I have on my new W8 laptop. I installed Outlook 2007 and all's working well except for one thing: I normally press Alt + R to reply to a mail, but on W8 this brings up the run command. Can I somehow delete the shortcut for the run command so it would work only in Outlook, or is there a way to overrule other windows shortcut whilst working in Outlook? Thanks in advance for your help! Saluti, Don |

It should work as before. Do you have any software installed that re-maps the shortcut keys e.g. a replacement Start Menu?

Thanks Graham, that's it! I have installed the Classic Shell and found an option to override the shortcuts in the start menu. Now the Alt + R is doing what I want it to do.
Cheers, Don |
