personal email account is showing as public folder
Hello,
I have a user whose personal work email account shows up as a public folder. In his outlook it says Public Folders next to his email address. Any idea how I can change this so it's just a standard email account like everyone else in the company? (screenshot attached) Any help is appreciated. -Daniel |

What's kind of account? POP or IMAP or Exchange?

***RESOLVED***
I ended up going to Control Panel > Mail > Email Accounts > Remove email account I repeated these steps and Outlook asks to create an email account. Follow the next, next, finish steps and the email account is created. Public Folders did not show up in front the email account and the actual Public Folders we were looking for appeared when going to the ellipses (...) and clicking folders. |
