How to log into a group email account

I want to log into my teams group Outlook email account. I am not the administrator but think I have the password.
I have no idea where to start. please can someone help me with an idiots guide?

ps I know we use windows 7 but don't know what version and the same with outlook, know it is 2010 but no more than that
