Default Show emails stored in a system folder (drive) in outlook

Hi all,

I'm looking in how to show the emails stored in a system folder (a shared drive) inside outlook. I guess the way we are showing emails in outlook folders, it should be able to do this with emails saved on a shared drive.

Any ideas how to do this or a different solution.

All help is really appriciated :-)

Greetings.

You can store Outlook items in a pst. The pst is saved to the drive. One person at a time can have it open. The items can be manipulated in Outlook as usual.

Hi Niton,

Thanks for your answer. We are using the archive .pst file, but as only one person a the time can have it on, it takes the use of it. We have few group mail boxes and plenty emails going on. So we need to be able to check older emails without asking one person or asking that person to release the .pst file.

I can save the .msg file on disk, but would be great to show this on outlook as well.
Wy microsoft did never think that more than one person at the time would like to use it?

Any other solutions that you could think of?

Greetings.
