I recently upgraded to Windows Vista Business and reinstalled my Office XP Pro software on it. The machine is a Lenovo T61. The only problem I have having is that Outlook will not retain my email account passwords when I exit it. It will retain them during the online session however. Checking and unchecking the remember password box doesn't make any difference. I found two Knowledge Base articles that seemed to apply, 290684 and 264672. I followed the suggestions in both to no avail. I then uninstalled Office and reinstalled it, but no joy.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. This is driving me nuts. Thanks. -- Mike |
