Pasting Word into Outlook and getting garbled stuff
I have gone to many different people and no one can find an answer. My issue is as follows and hopefully someone can save my skin.
I will develop a document in Word. I will then cut and past it into Outlook. Oh yes, we can only use text format. Now I send the document to senior leadership and what he sees is a few lines then a carriage return with a couple of words, a return and so it goes. Is there something that I can do to ensure that when I send the email when the recipient receives it, it won't do this? Now another question. although we are only allowed to use text format, the leadership uses HTML and after he reviews it and fixes the errant returns, forwards it. Does this cause an issue? As an aside this is what I am doing manually to fix this problem (I feel like I am in stoneage) . I save the document as a draft. Then I highlight another draft and go back into that original draft. I see where the runaway carriage returns are and fix it. I then save the document in draft again and do the same thing over and over until the document is fixed. This is not a good method, but the only way that we can find to fix the problem. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you |
