Create multiple copies of same email in multiple folders
Ok so I organized my email so that every time someone sends me an email, it goes into their specified folder (I created a rule for everyone). Sometimes I have to CC a bunch of people, and have multiple people in my To: field. I also want to create rules where if I send an email to someone (or multiple people), that sent email is also in their folder. Needless to say, if I send the same email to a lot of people, then I want that same email to be in their folder also. So if I send an email to 10 people, say 3 in the To: field, 7 in the CC field, I want a copy of that email in all 10 people's folders. So it's like a multiple To: rule, but when I create the rule, it disregards the others and just applies the rule to one person.
So, if I send an email to Jack and Jill, and CC Bob and Sara on that same email, and I apply a rule that says any emails sent to Bob goes in the "Bob" folder, it will only put that email in Bob's folder. But, I want that email in Jack, Jill, Bob AND Sara's folders so I don't have to search everywhere for it, I can just go into any of their folders and find the same email. I'm pretty new to Outlook. Is there a setting somewhere for this? |
