Default MAC NEW HARDDRIVE (emails not searchable)

Hi there,

I have a MacBook Pro OS 10.9.5 with Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.4.4.

I recently had the computer store install a new static HD in my CPU. They transferred my contents and programs over.

Once I opened MS Outlook- it asked for the password. I put it in and sent and received emails.

The problem is I try to search a name, file or email, it will only show the file from after I started Outlook again for the first time with the new HD. Even though I can see the email in the in (or) out box. When I type the name of someone - there is nothing in the search. Therefore I am unable to find an email from the past without major manual searching.

Is there a way to fix this - please let me know. thank you.
