Hi,

I send out a lot of e-mails, usually with the same scheme and was wondering it there is a way where you can have the subject automatically be inserted when creating a new email?

If it is the same subject each time, create a template containing the fixed text (save your message as a template) and then create your e-mails of that type from that template.

Agree with gmayor. I use templates for emails all the time. I type up the subject line, body text etc and leave prompts for spots I need to add any customised data such as for "Dear <NAME>," then I save it as a template to a folder I have on my desktop. Then when i want to send that email I just open the folder, double click the template and it opens in Outlook ready for me to just put in the recipient details and any customised data and I just have to hit send.

Thanks! Is there anyway where if I press "Cntrol N" and it'll automatically open a new email with the template already loaded?

Create a macro as follows and assign the macro to a keyboard shortcut. The procedure is the same as that at http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm albeit that uses Word as a platform.

Code:
Sub MyNewMessage()
Dim olItem As MailItem
    Set olItem = CreateItemFromTemplate("C:\TemplatePath\TemplateName.oft")
    olItem.Display
End Sub
