Exclamation Setting up MS Outlook

Hello to everyone. I hope you guys are having a good time. Anyway, I kinda need your help.

So, I'm trying to help my boss modernized our office by giving suggestions and recommendations. One thing I thought is setting up MS Outlook for all to prevent from using paper all the time.

I already told them that all the computers on our office should be under one network and its already being work on, I believe. Problem is, I don't think they will have internet anytime soon. So, I was thinking if we can set-up Outlook under a Offline-network.

If this could be done? Anyone who can teach me how to do it?
If not, what can you guys suggest? Are there any software that can work under Offline-network?

Thanks in advance to everyone!

What features are you looking to use in Outlook Email, Calendar, shared, contacts, and such?
the reason I ask is you will most likely need some sort of in-house server and your answers will determine the server OS and software used i.e Microsoft, Linux, MS Exchange, sendmail or NAS.

Do you already have a server?

If you are looking to do only file sharing you can do this without a server and use peer to peer file sharing

Primarily I want to use the Email. The reason for this is because I want to lessen the use of papers in the office. For instance, we do reports every week and sometimes daily, so instead of printing this stuffs it would be easier for all of us to just send it as an email. Saves us time and paper. Yeah?

Right now. My boss is already working on the server. We're just waiting for it. As for the OS, there would be a high chance that we will use Microsoft for this.

Any advice that you can give us would be appreciated. Thanks Jim.
