Hi,

I have encountered several problems since I installed Office 2013. I previously used Office 2010. My Operating system is Windows 7 SP1.

1. I use Outlook to access my gmail and truemail accounts. After installing Office, I was not receiving incoming mail from my truemail account, everything was fine with my gmail account. When I checked my account settings using the Test Account Settings, it reported an email had been sent but I did not receive the email in my Inbox. I resolved this by the following: Select FILE, ACCOUNT SETTINGS, Select the appropriate account (in my case truemail), CHANGE, MORE SETTINGS and entering 'Inbox' in FOLDERS - ROOT FOLDER PATH field. I do not remember having to go through this procedure when I installed Office 2010.


2. For some reason my message rules for moving incoming mail to the appropriate folders had disappeared. I had to create new rules.
3. Latest problem that I had earlier today is that Outlook could not move an incoming mail to a folder. It reported that the mail was in use by another application. All other incoming mails were transferred to the correct folders on reciept. Checked processes in Task Manager and found only one instant of Outlook running (the correct one). After investigating without success, I chose the Clean Up Folder option. Once I had done this I was able to move the mail to the folder.
