Unhappy Incorrectly Set up Settings in Outlook 2013 while changing from IMAP to POP3 Acct

Erroneously installed Outlook 2013 as IMAP Acct instead of POP 3. Wrote earlier post on how to change. Received answer; followed directions and was partially successful. After deleting the IMAP Acct I now have what appears to be two, or maybe three accounts on the pane on the left of the screen: One titled with the name of my Gmail acct with a few sub folders such as Inbox, Draft, Junk, etc. (all empty). The second is titled "Work" with "Inbox" as a subfolder and all my imported Personal Folders (64 + subfolders) from my 2003 Outlook application. I believe I made an error in setting up the POP3 account, but I don't want to go in and play with this to see what happens. I have been working on setting Outlook 2013 up and importing my data for many, many hours and I am very discouraged at this point. In Account Settings on the EMail Tab the name of my Gmail acct appears correctly. The Data Files Tab shows the Location of the data file as C: Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\[email address]dot OST. In the lower left corner, where it says Selected Acct delivers new message to the following location in bold it reads "WORK\INBOX" and below that it reads "in data file C:\User|[Name]\Outlook Files\Work.pst. When I click on the "Change Folder" box a "tree" with the name of my Gmail acct appears (same as in EMail Tab) on top; in a direct line below it is an icon that looks like a file drawer with the word 'Work"; in a direct line below the "file drawer" is an icon with the word "InBox." I have attached images of the Account Settings Windows. I also have two calendars. One is titled Calendar - This computer Only - Name of Gmail Account - Outlook and is empty; the other is titled Calendar 1 and at the top of the screen reads "Calendar - WORK - Outlook and contains my imported calendar from Outlook 2003. It is saved in the same file location as indicated for WORK above. After writing this, I believe I went wrong by creating the WORK.PST file. However, I did not know where to save my imported data to and read in one Outlook ref not to save it in the Program Files so I saved everything in my MY DOCUMENTS. I have invested so much effort in this and although it is usable, it does not work correctly. I have a moderate understanding of what I am doing, but will need step by step instructions. Referring me to an on-line website/documentation gets me in trouble because the screens are frequently different depending of the version of the application one has. I don't understand what "Tags" are so I have spelled everything out in this document (thread?)
