Opening .pst with dummy values
I have a requirement to open a outlook 2003 taken from one machine to read it in my personal desktop. So, I am trying to open it in a machine where microsoft office is installed but outlook is not configured. When outlook is opened for 1st time, it tries to install, so here, can dummy values for IP like '1.1.1.1' be entered so that the .pst can be opened subsequently? As, my sole purpose is to read mails, I guess this process can be followed for this?
I hope, my question is clear. Please, help in solving the doubt. Regards |
