Message Content Appears As Attachments
I am a long time user of Outlook 2003 just converting to Outlook 2010. In Outlook 2003 for many years I have been receiving email from a list server without any trouble; some times just text and sometimes formatted (probably HTML). Since switching to Outlook 2010 the messages now are received without any content, all content is converted to attachments with file names such as Untitled attachment 0181.txt and/or Untitled attachment 0184.htm
I'm told that the problem first appeared in this listserver group when clients converted to Outlook 2007. A similar problem apparently exists in messages coming from the Apple world, see https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3107672 I looked for but did not find any Outlook options that might control the format of displayed incoming messages. Any idea what needs to be changed? Tom |
