Hi as the title suggests i'm having problems with Office using the 'send to' option in Word / Excel / Powerpoint.
I'm using Office 2003 on Windows 2003, fully service packed and fully up to date with the updates. We are using Citrix XenApp 4.5 and all of our users get this same problem. We use a mandatory profile for all of our users. I have checked through a pile of microsoft / general website articles to sort this but haven't come up with anything. So far I've: + Ran a repair on Office 2003 Standard, including re create shortcuts + performed a 'Re Install' of Office 2003 standard from the Add/ Rem programs + Checked all of the registries are correct including: -HKLM\SW\Clients\Mail -> Default is Microsoft Outlook -HKClasses\.ZFSendToTarget\PersistentHandler -> correct -HKLM\SW\MS\Windows Messaging Subsystem\ -> correct I've re registered ole.dll, sendmail.dll, mapi.dll, mapi32.dll Outlook is set as the default email client (viewable in IE tools-> options -> programs) Error messages: WORD: "Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure: "Unspecified error" Excel: General mail failure. Quit Microsoft Office Excel, restart the mail system, and try again. POwerpoint: There was a general failure with the e-mail system and this action could not be completed. MS Articles: 291152, 834008 (and probably more) Very frustrating, everything on the web basically suggests what i've already done and ultimately leads me back to the same MS articles etc! If anyones got any suggestions please let me know! Thanks Chris |
