Outlook 2003 - IMAP + Exchange. Set Default via Command-Line?
Hello everyone,
I'm a technician for a large school district where most machines are Windows XP with Office 2003. This summer we install a Cisco Phone implementation, so staff can listen to their voicemail in Outlook. We didn't want the voicemail going to their exchange account because then we'd have to legally back them all up. So what we did was create a separate IMAP account just for voicemail. The issue I'm having is that whether I create a new Office Install including that IMAP account, or I create a new Office Install and add a CMW file adding the VM1, when users first launch outlook it defaults to the IMAP account. It's an easy enough fix from a user perspective, but it will result in A LOT of helpdesk calls. Is there a way I can force which account is default through Command-Line, registry, CMW, or otherwise? Thanks! |
