Default Outlook smartcard authentication

I have set up office 365 but have issues getting outlook tot work correctly with smartcard logon.
Logon tot the PC works normal.

Browser authentication is also OK.
Log in to office365 through browser works OK.

When trying to configure outlook my smartcard is ignored and I am prompted for user and pass.
Catch is the users don't know their passes. Smartcards handle their logons.
I found a post sp1 hotfix for support for smartcards in office 2010 together with a enablesmartcard registry key.
I installed sp2 so this should be included. Manually did the registry key but no change.
The prompt does not show any option for smartcard authentication, just user and pass.
With user and pass it works btw.

I have no idea how to force outlook to use the smartcard for the log in.

Any ideas ?
