Default Unable to access attachments on older emails

Apologies in advance, my computer literacy isn’t great! I’ve tried to do a forum search, but I didn’t spot anything that helped.

I’ve recently brought a new keyboard, and it’s prompted me to start using outlook to help organise myself. My university email is now linked in, and everything is fine…apart from one massive pain – I can’t seem to access any email attachments other than on the email on the top of the conversation thread. I’m having to open my email account separately, where there isn’t this problem, and open attachments from there.

Is there any way of sorting this?

Many thanks!
