New Profile Outlook 2010
Running Windows 8
I have found, I think, an answer to my question, but the answer doesn't work. Outlook mail has worked perfectly for a long time. This AM, I selected "Send/Receive" and nothing happened. Closed and Opened Outlook. No help. Tools>Account Settings resulted in "The operation failed because of a registry or installation problem. According to a google search, one solution it to create a new profile. Went to Control Panel>User Accounts, but can't find a 'Mail" option for creating a profile. Relevant or not, under Send/Receive, I used to have a list of my 5 email addresses. Now? Nothing. My only choice is "Send/Receive All." I understand a separate option is to uninstall/Reinstall Outlook but that is an option I dread worse than becoming a brain donor. How do I create a profile and/or is there another option I can try to get email working? |

The mail item is direcly under control panel, not under user accounts.
Switch views from category tot small items if you have trouble locating it. |
