Close excel sheet before sending ?

Hi, All

I have a excel schedule that is sent out every day at 18:00, if the file is still open on a computer it will not send, I do not want to use vba on the excel sheet as my system will not allow it to be sent (corporate policy !!)

Is there a way that I can get outlook to close and save the file before sending it, or is there another way that I can send it even if it is open ??
