Default Outlook search too many results

Hi All,

I'm forever searching outlook for emails by keywords that I know will be in the document. However, I get so many results returned that its a problem.

If for example I type, alex, sandwich, shoe. I will get back a lot of results that I know for a fact don't contain all of those keywords.

Why does this happen and can I change the settings to get back better results?

Thanks

I'm using office 365

Hi Alex,

Try using the keyword "AND" when searching to limit the number of returned emails. In your example, try searching on "alex AND sandwich AND shoe". If you don't put the AND keyword, then its considered an OR.
