Default outlook 2007 with Exchange 2013

in Outlook, if I just open the OUtlook and click into Inbox FOlder only.

The outlook will just load the Update listing? or it must sync back all folder contact / msg body/ attachment?

Or If it only update the full body msg from server when I open the msg for reading?

Because office will use outlook soon, and the boardband speed is about 4M for 30 users...now we are worry about the speed.

thanks
