Default Outlook 2010 - Automatically deleted INBOX emails

Hi, I am running a IMAP email through Outlook 2010 using Telstra as the Internet provider and TPP as hosting. On Monday 19th August I attempted to open a email but it dissapeared and looked at my Inbox and I could see the number of INBOX emails being deleted one by one very fast and now I have no emails in my INBOX. My auto archive settings are set to delete emails older than 12months , not my whole INBOX. My mail is still all there on my hosts cloud server though. I also have other IMAP emails running on the same host and Internet connection , but they are fine. No warning emails saying my emails were going to be deleted and no messages from Auto Archive to say they were going to archive.

Does this sound like a virus in OUTLOOK or is this something that can happen in OUTLOOK 2010 ? as I tried to open my (up to date) Norton 360 to scan, but didnt open. Please help.
