Calender including Yahoo calendar adds unwanted attendees
I use Outlook 2010 and link to Microsoft Exchange. My wife uses Yahoo, and I want to add her calendar to Outlook so I can see her appointments and mine. I went to her Yahoo calendar and shared it. That worked fine. Then in Outlook, under calendars, and I added her Calendar, by keying in the web address where her calendar is stored. All that worked fine.
So what is the problem? With all her calendar appointments, I am listed as an invitee. So while I show her calendar (merged with mine if I like), it has my name on her appointments. I don't use invitees in Outlook, and I could solve this problem by just not listing invitees. But I don't see a way to turn it off. Alternately, if I could get Outlook (or Yahoo?) to stop importing/exporting attendees that are not supposed to be there, it would help a lot. Any suggestions? |
