outlook Mail and calendar showing wrong day

I've just installed microsoft outlook on a new computer and am having a few problems with it. Firstly, when it receives email it says that they are arriving yesterday. For instance, an email sent to me today, Sunday, the 4th of August, at 1043am shows up as yesterday, Saturday the 3rd at 1043am.
Secondly, my hotmail, and android phone calendar has synced with outlook, which is what I wanted, but all of the events are one day out. for instance, on outlook, events I had scheduled for today, Sunday the 4th, on my hotmail and phone calenders are showing up as scheduled for Saturday the 3rd.
Any ideas? I've double checked my online Hotmail calendar and android calendar and they both still have the correct dates. I'm in New Zealand if you are wondering about the time zone...


I've already checked that all my time zones are the correct ones.
