Transferring contacts for outlook 2003
I'm having trouble with getting the .pst file where it belongs. Here is the problem I'm having. I bought a new PC and loaded Office 2003 on it. I did an "Export" of the .pst file to a thumb drive and I thought I had imported it to the new PC, but now, every time I start office, I have to have that thumb drive in for outlook to open. Can someone help getting this file in the right directory and have Outlook point to it without the thumb drive.
I have already tried to "Repair" and "Uninstall/Install" Outlook from the Office disk. It keeps pointing to the thumb drive. |

Close Outlook
Insert thumb drive Move the *.pst (or copy) onto the PC Remove thumb drive Open Outlook and go through the import process again, this time pointing at the *.pst on your computer. |

Can I open it and import to the location on the c: drive, then delete the pointer to the f: drive? I can probably figure out the first part, but I can't find anywhere in Outlook points to the f:drive. |
