Hi everyone - I have been using outlook for my work for the past few months on the basis of POP3 and the following e-mail account arrangement :
One actual account with the 'real' user name : myself@domain.com and 3 Alias email addresses : 1@domain.com - 2@domain.com - 3@domain.com So in fact, the alias accounts all have the same username in their set-up (myself@domain.com). I have set one of the above 3 addresses as default, so that whenever i create new e-mail it is being sent through my most desired e-mail account. The problem arises when i try to forward or reply to a message i receive. No matter what default address I have defined, it will only send from myself@domain.com, thus everytime i need to go and manually switch the account to match my preferred sending address. I am sending more than 100-150 e-mails a day and this can really be painstaking. Also, if i forget to switch it to my preferred sending address, people catch on to the 'wrong address' and start routing their future correspondence differently, creating a total mess. I'm wondering, has anyone experienced the same issue, if so how could i try to solve it ? Anyone, suggest a fix ? tks |
